Milo Raini Milo stood next to the tank. His fingers lightly touching the cool surface of the see-through material keeping the water inside the container. His breath caught as his blue eyes locked on an interesting fish. Its fins were so delicate looking. Each striping of gold and blue a bold statement of its beauty. He could clearly see the fish as it swam past the corals at the bottom of the tank, which were also elegant. He could imagine algae and other small organisms floating on the current inside the tank. Lost in the drift of endless movement as the pretty fish swam by.
Milo was just as lost. He had never expected to come here, but somehow he had. He just paid the entree fee and came right on in. After aimless wondering he was deep inside the building known as the aquarium, looking at fish. Every muscle in his body tensed up a bit as he saw a large shape coming out of the shadows of the fish tank. He took a minor step back, no longer touching the glass.
The teenage male watched as a nurse shark emerged from her watery hiding place. He didn't breathe sigh of relief or anything. He just stared at the shark for a moment. Partially this was out of respect for such a magnificent creature, for the most part though, he stared out of wonder. What paths of evolution did this shark's ancestors go through to create such an interesting species? He had previously had very similar thoughts when it came to that fish he saw earlier.
Taking a few steps back from the tank he then looked around. It had to be about four o'clock by now. Luckily it was a Saturday, and his curfew was about 11 o'clock. Although he was usually home earlier then that. It wasn't like he was ever up to anything anyway. He sat down on a nearby bench. He opened a small backpack he had been carrying. Out of it he pulled out a water bottle. Taking a swig of it relieved the thirst that had begun to burn in his throat from being surrounded by water without a drink. As he took a drink, he kept his eyes open, his ears alert. The male was nothing special, no training in the secret arts of ninjas or spies. He just payed enough attention to detail to notice if something wasn't right. The vibe that everything was perfectly fine was all he go though. Now he could drift off in his thoughts, and plans...

Sweet little Bella. The fourteen year old girl was much to short to be fourteen, yet she was. Although she could feel that she was starting to grow. She wanted to be just like her big sister, Claire. Bella really looked up to her older sister, but didn't squash her own individuality. Bella was wandering through the aquarium. She planned on visiting the oriental restaurant. Somehow she was just craving that. It was just like her to walk into a fancy restaurant all by herself. To adults, she might seem a bit younger, but she didn't think she was actually short enough to be mistaken as just a kid. She did still sort of look like a teenager... One day she would be just as pretty as her big sister Claire, she just knew it.
In the meanwhile she was smiling and saying hi to every single fish she could find. It was pretty enjoyable. She saw a few clown fish and couldn't help calling one Nemo. When she saw a fish that looked just like Dori she had to absolutely smile. She was a little old for Disney movies, but what could she do? To late to take back those innocent immature thoughts now. They weren't so bad. She could have been thinking about bad things. Which she would rather just keep out of her head.
Today, Bella was wearing a skirt. It was a white skirt with a frilly hem. Her blouse was white, and the sleeves were the kind that looked like puffs and just looked looked plain girl-y. This was all accompanied by a gold heart shaped pendent on a gold chain. The pendent centered itself in the middle of her neckline, and the frilly round collar of her blouse sort of framed it. Inside the pendent was a picture of Claire and Axel. Her two favorite siblings, well actually her two only siblings. Well actually that wasn't true. Bella had a fraternal twin, who looked just like her. The only reason they were fraternal happened to be that her twin was a boy. Different genders yet the same appearance... He was out there somewhere. She had met him just once, they had ice cream together. She hadn't bothered telling her siblings because she didn't want to bring any painful memories upon them. these were some of the things she had planned on not thinking to much about, but here her mind was. Betraying her heart.
Bella was walking right beside the tank when she noticed a nurse shark. She wasn't sure if they were harmless or not to humans. She had a healthy respect of the big predatory animal. She stepped away and looked around. What she found was a bench, and a boy on that bench. She walked over to him, unafraid to be friendly. Claire would probably be mad at her, for talking to strangers so much lately. She jut couldn't help it, she liked people. So she looked at him with a smile on her face, and asked, "May I sit next to you?" In a cheery, polite voice.

Milo was somewhere between drifting in thought and studying every detail of his surroundings. For a male he was pretty good at multi-tasking. As he watched what was going on near the tank he saw a blond girl approach the glass. She took a healthy step back from the tank. This made him smirk, although it was the exact same thing he had done. It was just uncomfortable being so close to a predatory fish of that size. Nurse sharks were harmless to humans though. Well actually, they could attack humans, but it was unusual, and they were not generally perceived as a threat. Milo Like animals, even fish so he knew a lot about them.
He couldn't help but notice her feminine outfit. Milo was fond of girls who actually acted like girls. It was kind of mean, but he thought girls really should act like girls. They shouldn't have to work a job, and should just raise children, well that was his opinion. He was pretty egotistical about his own man-hood. Milo wasn't going to tell any girls off about what they should or shouldn't do though. He was all for the whole everyone is equal thing. If a girl really wanted to do something, she might as well just do it. Whatever gets you boat to float.
He watched her approach him with a smile. She was the one smiling, not him. He wasn't really used to strangers walking up to him and had personal space issues. He nodded at her question and then proceeded to scoot to the far edge of the bench. He didn't really want her in his space but he wasn't about to be rude to a lady. He was guessing she was probably thirteen or fourteen.
He stayed silent, and kept a weary eye on her. Milo had nothing to say. She seemed like the type that might talk a lot, so he just waited for a cascade of ramblings to start. Although she did seem rather polite, so she might not talk his ears off. Milo was waiting to see which type she really was and was also keeping an eye out on his surroundings. He wondered if she was here alone, she was a little young to be wandering around. However she was probably only three or four years younger then himself. He was an aimless wander at that age, and at this age as well. Seventeen was a wonderful age to walk around with nothing to do. He was just getting lost in the vast expanse of the city.

Bella smiled, he seemed quiet. She sat down in the middle of the bench since he scooted over to the far side of the bench. She waited a moment. Scoping out the tank from this view first. Bella was almost like a puppy sometimes, so interested in everything, nice to anyone who would play with her.
Bella ran a hand over her shoulder length blond hair. Then turned to the stranger. "Hello, I'm Bella. What's your name? Do you like the fish~y?" She said in her chiming voice. Bella was such a good name for her. Her nickname was Bells, and well she sounded like one sometimes.
She glanced him over again, he was sorta cool. He had this look that was sort of old fashioned, yet totally new. She liked his hair. It was midnight black, and sort of wavy. Her own hair was as blond as it gets. Sometimes she acted like a blond too... However Bella's roll-model Claire was a strawberry blond. Which is what Bella called the strange reddish orange hue of her sister's hair. The young female was perfectly content with her own hair color though.
Bells twitted her thumbs, for some reason sitting still wasn't working out so well today. She didn't know why she felt that way though. She just felt giddy today, like she could be queen of the world, well actually princess, Claire was going to be queen. She was perfectly fine with that. Queens had responsibility, princesses had nail polish. All was good with that idea, she found no faults.
"Do you know the real name of the Nemo fish~y?" She asked, turning to the stranger she was sitting next to. He seemed really intelligent for some reason. He hadn't spoken a word yet, but still. He seemed like the type to know the answer to her question. It wasn't rocket science or anything.

Milo watched her sit down next to him. She scoped out the place with a silly grin on her face. He didn't mind her too much though. It wasn't long before she introduced herself like a nice young lady. He put on the best smile he could fake. Then nodded as she finished. "I'm Milo, and yes, I do like the fish." He then returned to avoiding eye contact and looking at the fish off in the tank.
He couldn't help but note that her voice had a certain chime to it. She seemed like the friendly, bubbly type. The type that spoke her mind, and didn't think things through to thoroughly. He was just speculating that anyways. It didn't take too long for her to chime in again. Asking a question that made him smirk. Now, that was a topic he could actually enjoy discussing, even if it was with a strange girl.
"Yes. Actually, that species of fish is a clown fish. They live in sea anemone, and clown fish happen to be omnivores, just like you and me. " He said, still smirking. He was talking to her as if she was a child, and she sort of looked like one. The girl was very short, but he still knew she had to be in middle school at the very least.
Milo ran a hand over his hair, it was sort of messy, and sort of styled. He really didn't pay a whole lot of attention to such silly things. His main interest was in animals, and getting lost. There were lots of ways to get lost, he could get lost in his work, or in a book,. Or he could just wander around like he did today to get lost. He could also, occasionally get lost in conversation with the right person. He highly doubted Bella here would be the right person though.
