Bella giggled and Claire laughed. Jay was actually pretty fun. With a smile she carried on the military talk, "alright soldier. We'll make sure to get you to the infirmary soon, and get you a badge as well." Claire then pointed out the Slide and asked if they wanted to go. Once she got both their answers she was ready to go. She let go of Bella so she could head for land. Once there there was a fifty-fifty chance that she might start heading up the stairs or wait for the two older teens. For some reason Bella stayed right there and asked a question and demanded an answer for being his biggest fan. Claire was a little confused.
Her eyes went to Jay, it seemed Bella had just put the spotlight on him. Claire was actually pretty interested in this. He was going to be an actor? What kind? Claire thought he was cute enough to be a movie actor but there were other types. Claire glanced away for a second, kind of unnerved to think of her little sister's friend as cute. She then looked back at Jay, wondering what he would say. Claire didn't know if any shows got new characters, at least not the ones she watched. She shrugged like she didn't care to much and headed for shore, or the edge of the pool as some people call it. Still listening for his answer, actually truly interested.
notes; lolz, it will probably be a while before anyone steals your spot on the OTM's since I love Jay.

I'M LOOKIN' AT YA, GIRL, YOU'RE KIND OF TOOKIN' BACK †Jay felt an indefinable happiness in him. When was the last time he had a real friend? Most of the time, he would just hang out with a random group and be used as a gopher. Whenever he did actually someone genuinely interested him, though, the friendship would often fall apart, mostly due to Jay's refusal to view himself as an equal to those around him. This often made him seem like a servant, even when one wasn't needed.
It's not like Jay had any distinguishing features about himself that would make him more noticeable or even worth being on the same level as others. anyways. At least, that's how Jay thought. His grades were average. His athletic skills were average. His social skills were average. Nothing particularly stood out. Claire and Bella were so much more different, so much more unique. Claire had the outstanding potential to become a popular model, and Jay did not doubt Bella's make-up artist skills. But himself? Was voice-acting really going make him big? He often asked himself.
Jay laughed at Claire's continued military talk, despite his previous rather pessimistic thoughts. His only resource of military knowledge were a couple of war films and a battle game he used to play as a kid, before his way of thinking became complicated.
Jay expected Bella to take off once toward the water slide once she got his response, but instead, she directed a question at him. "Jay, how is your acting career coming?" She asked, and then added, "As your biggest fan, I have to know!" This last comment made Jay blush. Oh, that's right. He almost forgot. He already had a 'biggest fan' after only voice acting one show.
" H-Huh? Oh, that..." Jay stuttered, a little off guard in the sudden lime light. "I've-I've actually hooked a job voice-acting for this kiddie show, but it's nothing major..." He tried to sound as humble as possible, keeping in step of his philosophy of being a servant to those above him. Jay could see Bella's good intentions through her smile, but it unnerved him nonetheless.
Jay's eyes momentarily flickered over to Claire to see her reaction. In an ironic coincidence, Claire's eyes were glanced away, making it look like a cold act of ignorance. When he looked back, Claire had shrugged and was heading toward the dry ground, adding onto the misunderstanding, although Claire's actions were not meaning to do so. Bella did have a large amount of acquaintances. That was probably because of her fear of being alone. She could only take it so long before going off to find a companion. Rarely did she ever manage to meet up with that person again somewhere else. Unless they went to the same school it would be difficult to meet up again. Bella just the type to carry around a cell phone and call people. Phones were like foreign objects to Bella at some times. Claire always scolded Bella that she should take her cell phone with her so she could call.
The younger girl saw many things about Jay that were different. He was tall, and not everyone is, she was short for instance. Also he wore kitty-ears sometimes. He was really nice, and Jay could be a super hero if her had powers. Bella had a feeling that if you gave super powers to random people they would get greedy and try taking over the world. Jay wasn't that type of person. He was a really good person, and it seemed like it was hard to come by a lot of those now days.
Claire's military talk was so awesome! Claire was a great role-model for her sister. Not to mention a normal model. Bella always thought that her sister was beautiful, and hoped she could be that pretty too. There were some bad parts of Claire, and Bella accepted that. Just like the rest of her family helped Bella with her schizophrenia.
Bella just about jumped out of the water when she heard the news. She started rambling at once. "Oh Jay! That is so amazing! I knew you could do it! What show is it? Can I watch it? Is it a main role? What time does it come on? Is it one of those really little kid shows that teaches the alphabet? Wow." Bella's blue eyes had gotten so big they could now be put on a cow. She took a deep breath after her rambling and they shrank down again. No one besides there mother had ever gone on TV. Apparently there mother had been pretty popular twenty years ago. Now she took care of most of the company's stuff abroad. Their older brother did all the CEO work in Threa. Their mother owned the company. Claire worked for them, and Bella didn't have a job yet. So Jay making it on TV was a big deal to Bella.

Claire had friends. They didn't know her very well, but she went out with them. She didn't talk much with her friends, and she could sometimes be a little distant. But when Bella was with her, she was different. She opened up more, it was like the two sister's changed each other. Like to negatives making a positive. That was their relationship.
Jay didn't seem odd, but if you looked closely at him he was special. It took a really nice guy to be able to befriend a girl, and a girly girl at that. Bella was three years younger then him as well. It was nice to see some nice people who could do stuff like that were still out there. Also, she had to admit he was cute. Claire was going to keep her mouth shut on that though. It was weird to hit on younger sister's friends. Even if her friends were the same age as you.
Claire thought Bella was beautiful too. The older sister tried her best to make her sister look nice. She mothered the other child, and that was a good thing. Their mother was never home. Claire and their older brother played parents to Bella. Although sometimes Claire had to admit that her older brother was a father figure in her life too. Claire really, really missed their real father though...
A smile found it's way to Claire's face. Bella was attacking Jay with questions. It was just because she was so excited for him. Claire looked back at Jay, after Bella's rambles but before he could speak she congratulated him. "Congratulations soldier." She then waited by the edge of the pool for the two so they could get on that water slide.
notes; A new one? cool. Would you be interested n taking a pre-made canon character? I had an awesome side plot that leads into the main plot, so I need to get this position filled. I'll pm you the info if you want.

BY THE WHOLE RAPPER THING, AREN'T YA? †Jay smiled sheepishly as Bella blurted out questions like a haywire machine gun. "Oh, Jay! That is so amazing! I knew you could do it! What show is it? Can I watch it? Is it a main role? What time does it come on? Is it one of those really little kid shows that teaches the alphabet?" Bella questioned, her words running together but never stumbling, as Jay often did, and ended with. "Wow."
" U-Uh, well. Th-Thanks. It¡¯s just luck, I guess..."" He started out, then began to try and address each of her questions individually. "It's called, uh, 'Forever After', and it's not really i-inappropriate or anything, so I wouldn't see why not. My-My role? Not really, it's a recurring character, but only really to give some comedy relief. " (He didn¡¯t mention that he was supposed to be the butt of most of the jokes in the show.) " It's on at nine in the morning on Saturdays, and it's not that baby-ish. It's supposed to teach, y'know, morals, though.¡° As Jay had talked about his voice-acting career, he found himself sounding more and more confident and excited and, to his chagrin, proud. Contrary to his philosophy, he really felt compelled to tell Bella how happy and relieved he was that he was finally starting on the path to his dream. He denied himself this pleasure, though. He was a disciplined guy, Jay told himself. Though he didn't follow such a strong belief of self-loathing, he was one to not trouble others with his own ideas opinions. "Congratulations, soldier. " Jay heard Claire say from the edge of the pool. He managed a smile despite the way he perceived her recent actions. " Thank you, sir, " Jay replied in military speak.[/blockquote] STATUS; Complete WORD COUNT; 304 NOTES; Depends if I like the character or not, but go ahead and PM the information.

Bella was so happy for her friend! It was really cool, sure he wasn't going to be on set getting filmed but having your voice in a cartoon was just as cool. She knew he could do it. Know he had. It was a really spectacular feeling. She was very happy for him. There was even a feeling that they should celebrate that. The beginning of a career was a big thing. The younger girl was on cloud nine as she listened to him answer her questions.
Bella could hear the confidence in Jay's voice. It made her really happy. But she was a bit distracted by the the bubbles overhead. she stopped herself from asking if anyone else saw them. When she saw all their strange colors she knew they were only visible by herself. She then focused on Jay again. When he was finished answering questions she nodded at him with a grin. Then heard her big sister's voice from the side of the pool saying congratulations military style.
Bela swam over to her sister, then she heard heard Jay say 'Thank you, sir.' She giggled, looking at her sister's face which had no change of expression. She silently applauded her sister for not reacting to the 'sir' part. Usually Claire was a bit touchy about that type of thing. Claire almost always corrected people if they said something like that. When call sir, she would tell them miss. When called dude, she would tell them dudet. For some reason it was a big deal to Claire. So it was nice to see her let it pass. Maybe, Bella thought, Claire was happy for him to and decided to not ruin the moment.

Claire smiled, it was kind of cute to watch the two. Bella was having a great time questioning the heck out of Jay. Then it was Jay's turn to answer. Claire now sat on the side of the pool. Listening diligently, but trying to not look like it. She would be embarrassed if Jay actually knew how happy she was for him. It wasn't as big of a deal to her as it was to Bella of course. But she was actually, genuinely happy for Jay.
The older sister noticed a small change in the guy. He sounded like he was proud of himself. It was nice to see that because he had come off a little shy. Claire congratulated him military style. He replied "Thank you, sir" but she was only slightly irritated. She would ruin it by saying anything, keeping her mouth shut she waited for the two to join her so they could get to the water slide.
Claire looked over at the water slide. It was a big one, painted an almost florescent green. It was the type multiple people could go on at once if the had an inter tube. Claire pulled some wet hair away from her face, tucking it behind an ear. The way the slide looked it seemed there would be lots of crazy twists and made some parts when they were in the dark. She had heard about the whirlpool part of the ride. The tube supposedly dropped into a concave area with a whole at the center. you spun around and around until you went down the drain. Claire couldn't wait for the thrill, she hoped it was true.

PROBABLY THINKIN YOU¡¯LL GET SLAPPED SO DANG HARD †Jay could really tell Bella was genuinely happy for him. He remembered when he first met her at the mall some time ago. He had been uneasy at how sincere and straight forward she had been with her feelings. It wasn't easy to find people like that in Utopia, he remembered thinking, astonished. The thing about Utopia was that a lot of people got so caught up with the pop culture that they became so fake. 'Cool to the point of not feeling anything. Nothing is real to' them, if he may quote. He saw it everywhere around him. Teenage girls dying to be on television. Young adults failing in their path to stardom. The way two people would tear each other apart over a job opening.
With these thoughts, Jay looked lover to Claire, still with a rather confident smile on his face. Had Claire once been a young girl who would give anything to model? Had she been unsuccessful in the past and been denied her dream? Had she hurt or been hurt by a friend turned rival? She was most definitely more worldly than her younger sister, Jay thought. Bella was optimistic and frank and, for lack of a better word, foolish, in a way. Claire was obviously shielding her younger sister (which he couldn¡¯t blame her for). But Jay couldn't help but wonder how well Bella would fare on the road to her dream of being a make-up artist. How well would he manage on his way?
Jay was oblivious to his mistake of calling Claire a 'sir'. It was just, y'know, a stereotypical kind of thing that happened. He wasn't as used to saying 'yes, ma'am' as 'yes, sir'. He didn't often speak in a military fashion in the first place.
" Let's-Let's go then, shall we? " Jay suggested, making his way to Claire at the side of the pool. He made a quick glance toward the water slides and swallowed a sudden lump in his throat. What was more embarrassing, he contemplated? Peeing himself and crying as he went down the slide? Or telling the girls now that he needed to hold their hand?[/blockquote] STATUS; Complete WORD COUNT; 383

Bella didn't realize that she was all that special. Was she really straight forward? There were so many fake things in her world, sometimes she was all that was real. Maybe it was true she was naive and sheltered. The blond thought the best of almost everyone. Actually, thinking about it there was no one she had grudges against. Bella just didn't know why she would need to dislike people, if they were disagreeable people then it wasn't their fault. They probably just had problems in their life. Bella just seemed to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. If she didn't, the world would just seem to sad...
The younger sister had lots of memories about Claire. How she had played princess with her, and their big brother had been a knight. Claire had always been the one to dress people up, and Bella had been the one to get into their mother's make-up. Bella didn't remember her sister saying specifically that she wanted to be a model, but she had said she wanted to be like mommy who was a model at the time. Their mother know ran a lot of the company. The family business...
Bella went to the side of the pool as well. Pulling herself out of the water. She nodded at Jay's words, then turned to Claire. "If it's fast, will you hold my hand?" Bella didn't have to worry about that kind of thing, holding hands was no big deal to her. In fact she never went on any fast, scary rides without someone with her. As she looked into her sister's eyes, Claire nodded. Bella smiled softly, almost melting at the soft brown gaze. Bells would have to enter Claire into the best big sister competition if they had one. If she would have known that Jay was scared too, she would have let him know it was okay to be yourself, even if it was embarrassing. She would hold his hand even though she was a little scared by the ride.

Claire wasn't open like Bella. She was not going to be an open book. Even if she was, no one would to read her pages. Claire wasn't like Bella, she wasn't capable of that kind of carefree attitude. That was why she loved Bella so much. The younger sister had all the qualities Claire wished she could have. Maybe if they spent enough time together all of Bella's good qualities would rub off on her. Maybe Claire would rub off on Bella, and Bella would open her eyes to how cruel the world could really be. It would be sad, but one of these days, Bella would learn one way or another.
Growing up, Claire hadn't been as desperate as other's to be a model. In fact all she had originally wanted was to be like her mother, who just happened to be a model. Later she kind of realized she liked singing. Claire had just went with the wishes of her family and practiced modeling. She had been told she had the "look" , whatever that meant. Apparently she was a lot like her mother, when her mother was younger. Claire had to admit, that her mother could actually be mistaken as their older sister though. The woman hadn't really aged that much... It was as if she would be young and beautiful forever, Claire would have to tease her mother that she was getting gray hairs. Which she wasn't, it would just be a tease.
Claire smiled at Bella's request. She nodded, connecting eyes with Bella. They had their little moment, understanding each other with just a little eye contact. Claire pulled her legs out of the water and stood up. As soon as she got out of the water she started trying to lay the spikes of Bella's hair flat. Her own orange hair was behaving itself, but Bella's was wild. She glanced at Jay, "Ok. I think the stairs are that way." She pointed off to the left. There was a corner but behind it the stairs seemed to start.

YOU WON'T EVEN BE ABLE TO STAND UP STRAIGHT, AREN'T YA? †Jay went through his list of excuses as he pulled himself out of the pool. The thing was, though, he was a terrible liar. It had already taken a lot of his will power to accept their request to go down the water slide. After a moment or two, he hesitantly excepted this and began to formulate a way to decrease his soon-to-be embarrassment. After that became a dud, he started to think of a way to divert their attention or something to that affect. This, of course, also came out as a failure. Bella seemed so set on the water slide, and Jay was too terrible at making a diversion.
In the end, Jay just accepted the embarrassment. It's not like this is the first time he'd ever been embarrassed, right? He has gone through so much worse. Although he told himself this, another voice in his head told him it wasn't like he was used to it. "If it¡®s fast, will you hold my hand?" Bella had asked her older sister. That almost spurred Jay to ask the same, but then he remembered, 'Oh, yeah, I'm three years older than her...' As small as that seemed, it was a great difference to him.
Claire then pointed off to where the water slide was. Jay, as he didn't often frequent the slide, didn't see it, but he assumed it was around the corner or something. "L-Ladies, first." Jay stuttered, his voice cracking in nervousness. It was the only excuse he had for this situation. [/blockquote] STATUS; Complete WORD COUNT; 271 NOTES; Sorry I've been gone for a bit.

Bells was ready for anything at the moment. Completely unaware to Jay's distresses. She was squirming while Claire flattened out her spiky hair. A model for a sister meant having to put up with her fashionista habits. Okay, honestly it wasn't that. But it was just some spiky hair! Bella didn't complain of course. Claire was just showing her affection. It was good to see Claire so... normal. Claire hadn't been herself in a while...
The young blond started walking towards the stairs when Jay stuttered out Ladies first. Again she could give him points for being a gentleman. Claire was following right behind Bella, but Bella came to an abrupt halt. Claire managed to maintain her graceful walk and step around the young road block. Bella walked as fast as pool rules would allow back to Jay's side. Ignoring the odd glance Claire was giving her over her shoulder.
Bella cupped her hand around her mouth like she had a secret. Her finger curled in a motion that was meant for him to realize she did have a secret. Well actually, it wasn't a secret as much as an embarrassing question. "Can I hold your hand too?" Her words tumbled out very quickly in hushed tone so Claire wouldn't hear. Bella smiled, hoping Jay would say yes. Bella didn't know that Jay was nervous about the slide, she just wanted to hold his hand. It was a fan girl kind of thing. she would be his first fan to hold his hand on a water slide. What other fan could claim that? Bella had thought of it just a moment ago, which was why it was so sudden. She felt her face get a little pink. Then heard Claire's feet splashing through a puddle. Apparently Claire was going on ahead, and expecting the two slowpokes to follow. Well that was how Bella interpreted it when she glanced in her sister's direction to see how far ahead she had gotten.

Claire ignored Bella's squirming and finished the job. The older sister was well aware the Bella didn't enjoy it to any extreme, but knew that Bella understood that Claire was just trying to help. The siblings understood each other, they were a close bunch. Claire was happier when she was with Bella, more like herself. Not so sullen or sad. It was almost impossible to be unhappy with Bella in the room, well that was how Claire felt anyway.
The older sister heard Jay's gentlemanly words and nodded her thanks. Stepping lightly on the stone surface beneath her feet. She was following close behind Bella, and it surprised her when Bella took a sudden halt. A million worries crossed Claire's mind at once, while she stepped around Bella. She gave a curious glance behind her to see what Bella was doing.
It caught her attention that Bella was trying to tell Jay some kind of secret. Claire sighed, her glance turning into one of confusion. She had no idea what it was. Bella could be so unpredictable sometimes. Then again if you really thought about everything Bella did, it made sense. It was just, so, Bella, and that was exactly what she was thinking.
She stepped in a puddle, splashing the water up. Claire was sure the noise of splashing water and footsteps nearby would gain Bella's attention. Claire would wait for them at the bottom of the stair case if necessary. The older sister was a little uncomfortable still, with her younger sister socializing with older boys. Luckily, Jay wasn't a trouble maker and Claire kind of trusted him to keep an eye out on her sister for her for some strange reason.

COUPLE RAPE CHARGES, PEOPLE THINK YOU'RE A MONSTER †Jay, after hesitating a bit with a thought of making a run for it, followed after Claire and Bella toward the water slide. He stopped suddenly, though, when Bella, who was in front of Claire, stopped. Claire, without missing a beat, gracefully sidestepped Bella. Jay couldn't help but silently applaud. Models really did have an elegant and beautiful disposition.
Jay leaned down to Bella's height (as she was considerably shorter than him) when it seemed as if she had something to tell him. It reminded him of his elementary days when gossip was painfully rampant and manifest. High school was much the same, but more secretive, he supposed.
"Can I hold your hand, too?" Bella asked quickly and quietly. Could she read minds? Jay wondered. Well, looks like he had a reason to hold someone¡®s hand now. It was surprising how lucky he was at this moment.
"Of-Of course. " Jay reassured her after seeing her slight blush. In any case, he would have accepted, but seeing her emotionally exposed like that, he decided to do it for her sake rather than his own. Jay watched Bella's eyes flick toward the direction in which Claire was. The older girl's feet splashed in a puddle, perhaps a signal to hurry up. He wouldn't blame her if she was being protective. Bella smiled, feeling much better now that he had accepted. She nodded, feeling her face red. The younger female tried to hide it, while still smiling. She didn't bother whispering "Thanks, Jay!" and started towards the slide again. Claire glanced back again, Bella caught her gaze. The two sisters didn't need to use words to understand what that meant. Claire was definably saying hurry up. Bella thought it was weird, Claire being a little impatient. Maybe Claire just really wanted the thrill of going down the slide. Standing in front a camera all day probably got boring, and Bella understood that Claire would want to enjoy herself a little. All her sister was asking to do was hurry up and come on the slide already. So Bella speed walked ahead.
The thought didn't come to Bella that maybe Claire was being protective and not impatient. With a brother as straightforward as theirs about protection Bella always thought of hidden meanings behind Claire's actions. Maybe they weren't so good at communicating without words! Oh well. Bella found herself holding Claire's hand and tightly gripping the railing on the way up. Claire had picked up a an inter tube, and Bella was helping keep their balance with the railing. The stairs being really slippery and all.
The younger female glanced back at Jay. A smile on her face, like she and he had some major big secret. Having a secret was always a little fun, as long as it was a innocent little secret. Stupid to even think of as a secret. Once Bella had a friend who told everyone she had a major big secret that she would never share with anyone. Bella left it alone, not wanting to pry she stayed away from the secret. Then her friend came over saying she wanted to share the secret with just Bella, Bella told her to go ahead. The secret? Apparently her friend like pizza.
