Claire Eterna
Claire walked into the amusement park next to her little sister Bella. Claire liked to call her younger sister Bells, walking in she whispered to her sister in a sing song voice. "Bells, do you want to go on rides or go swimming first." She smiled when Bella said that she would like to go swimming. There was only a three year age gap between the siblings, but the whole family treated Bella like she was a six year old. Claire walked off towards the water park area while Bella skipped by her side. There was no need to pay today, because the Spring Fest was taking care of that.
When they got there, they used the locker rooms to change into swimsuits. Bella wore a yellow one piece with black stripes. Reminding Claire of a bumble bee. Claire wore a red tankini with black poke a dots. She reminded herself of a lady bug. Honestly she didn't like either bug. They walked out onto the cement, and grabbed a few chairs near the water. Claire set down their bags, and dismissed her younger sister to go have fun. Bells jumped in the deep end, causing a splash. Claire watched but only sat on the chair because she didn't feel like swimming. The model wasn't going for a tan or anything. Just watching her little sister have fun was enough, she might jump in the water to have a splash fight with Bella though.

 YO, SAME SONG AND DANCE †Most people didn't like being ditched after being invited out to do something. Jay Phelan isnt part of that majority, though. Sure, he was honored to be asked out to hang out. But even if he isn't 'ditched', parse, after being deemed useless, he manages to wriggle his way away from the crowd. Useless, meaning there was nothing more they would need Jay to gopher around for.
Jay especially wanted to spend time with himself at such a place like the Spring Fest. At the tender age of twelve, he had discovered this special place shortly after he had moved to Threa. Ever since, he had always looked forward to this annual festival. He was in good spirits these past few weeks, too. Good timing, Jay would remark to himself. Just last month he had passed an audition for a Saturday morning cartoon. He was to play a character that was often the butt of jokes and always seemed to mess up. Not a character he's particularly fond of voicing, but money is money, after all.
Now, today, Jay had been invited by two of his school friends, but ended up feeling like the third wheel, as they both had brought dates. He suspected that they had just invited him to serve as a lapdog, and his suspicions were confirmed as they asked him to run errand after errand. Soon, though, they kind of just ditched him without a word (although they did leave him with two ice cream cones and two hot dogs which he promptly ate). After waiting for about thirty minutes, he made his way to the water park, his favorite part of the amusement park. Though the festival was in spring, the organizer of the event would always make sure to choose a hot sunny day, and, in his five years of going to the Spring Fest, Jay has never been disappointed by rain.
Jay changed into his blue swim trunks and sat on the side of the deep end of the pool, letting his legs dangle in the cool water. He had a weird tradition/superstition of sitting outside the pool for exactly five minutes before he got his whole body wet. Unfortunately, though, at only three minutes and forty-seven seconds, a huge splash engulfed him in water. He quickly found the culprit, and was pleasantly shocked to find that it was Bella, the girl who had bought him ice cream that day in the mall when he was feeling blue. Although he felt a little irked that his tradition had been interrupted, the joy of seeing a friend overwhelmed that feeling. " Hey, Bella! Remember me?" He called after dropping into the water and swimming toward her. [/blockquote] STATUS; Complete

With her big sister by her side the whole time Bella didn't worry about getting ditched. Yeah sure, sometimes Claire did leave Bella places by herself. Bella didn't mind though. She would rather let Claire have a good time, even if it meant being alone. Bella could have fun all by herself anyway. Sometimes that wasn't needed though...
At the Spring fest Bella always had fun. Her family was kind of frugal most of the time, even if they did have money. Claire and Bella were happy to get to the water park. The sunny weather and all made it wonderful. It was perfectly warm here. The water was great, and Bella jumped in it without a worry. She didn't actually realize she had splashed any body. When her head popped up from the surface she heard a familiar voice and smiled.
Bella was absolutely giddy to see her friend Jay! "Of course! I'm your biggest fan remember!" She giggled. She wadded in the water waiting for him to swim closer. Bella was surprised to see her pal. It was interesting to see him swimming though, last time they met he wore kitty ears after all. She was grinning, yes today would be a good day. It was going great already after all. [/center] |

Claire noticed a guy about her age. He was sitting by himself on the side of the pool. He had blue swimming trunks and blue hair. She couldn't suppress a smile when he got splashed by Bella's entrance in the pool. She found it odd what happened next. The two seemed to know each other. Claire couldn't suppress the curiosity that came over her. How did Bella know any boys her age? Claire wanted to see what was up. Maybe she was a little overprotective. That didn't matter cause she wouldn't let anything happen to any members of her family again.
Claire got up and walked to the edge of the pool, jumping in gracefully. Not making a big splash. Once she was in the water she swam towards the two others. She heard Bella say she was his biggest fan. Was this other person famous or something? Yet again, curiosity tugged on her mind. "So Bella, who's your friend?" Claire looked at the guy again. Still curious to how in the world he knew her little sister. The siblings were quite close after all.
The only sibling not here today was their older brother. He was busy working, Claire felt kind of bad for him. She herself was a model, and knew how difficult they could be. Her big brother had to deal with all the models on Threa. He wasn't getting a break today, but he might come some other time. Claire swam to her little sister's side, hugging her from behind. Smiling as she pulled Bella under for a moment and popped straight up. Bella shook her head like some kind of dog, giggling about it. Claire introduced herself to the stranger. "Hi. I'm Bella's older sister Claire."

 DAMN, GIRL, EVERYWHERE I GO SAME SONG AND DANCE †Once he reached Bella, Jay began to tread to the water to stay afloat. He grinned happily. Some moments were for solitude, but some were made exactly for the company of others. Jay had misjudged the day. Obviously, now, it was destined for him to spend time with a friend. At Bella's mention of her being Jay's biggest fan, he blushed and looked a little taken back. It was ironic how, after she had declared this at the mall, he managed to land a job a little afterwards. What luck. He decided not to tell her about his newfound good luck, though. He didn't want to trouble her or anything, as, for sure, she would most definitely watch the show. He was embarrassed at voicing such a character, as well. He didn't need Bella to see him doing such a thing. "Haha, yup! " He replied with a wide grin. " Coincidence meeting you here, huh?"
Jay wasn¡®t aware of another companion until she spoke. "So, Bella, who's your friend?" she had asked, almost suspiciously. Jay took a quick look over of her. She looked rather similar to Bella. Possibly her sister, he guessed. She had long orange-ish hair, which was the first thing he had noticed about her. It was either a light red, or a saturated strawberry blonde. She was around She also had large, pretty brown eyes. But her eyes weren't the only large things about her. She had very womanly curves, to say the least. Jay blushed even more at that thought, though. It didn't change his appearance much as he was already blushing.
" I'm Jay. Nice to meet you. [/b] " Jay introduced himself to her. He watched as the stranger dunked Bella underwater. Having a kind sibling like that must be nice, Jay thought to himself. His sister was currently at work, offering to take an extra shift to allow Jay to have some fun. He had insisted that it wasn't necessary, that he would work to make this month's rent, and, in the end, his sister had to threaten him to get him to give in. After resurfacing, the girl stated that she was Bella's sister, as he had suspected, and her name Claire.[/size][/blockquote] STATUS; Complete

Claire was still oblivious to Bells knowing Jay from meeting at the mall. She had no idea that Jay was voice actor, or any real idea about who he was. When she had come over out of curiosity she hadn't had those questions to prominent in her mind. As the two rose out of the water Claire noticed that Jay was really blushing. She wondered if he was embarrassed about something, or maybe just shy. She gave him a warm smile before smoothing down Bella's hair like she really was a dog. The older sister wasn't going to let her sister's hair get all wet and spiky looking. The little things got Claire doting over Bells. She had a job, working for her older brother. Bella was probably her biggest fan as well. Bella always asked for a copy of the pictures from the photo shoots. It was pretty adorable.
The boy had introduced himself right before Claire dunked her sister under the water. She still had a warm smile on her face, unusual for her. Usually when she met strangers she wasn't so welcoming. If this guy was a friend of Bella's though, she would be nice from the start. Claire just didn't trust people as easily as Bella. Today, she held out her hand to a stranger, intent on a hand shake. Sometimes the business attitude followed their family around. Claire couldn't help but do the whole hand shake thing when she met someone. The older sister was now intent on getting some questions answered. "So, How do you two know each other?" |

Bella nodded, this all was a very nice coincidence. She hadn't imagined that after their meeting at the mall, that the next place they me would be the spring fest. Bells was officially glad to be able to live in Utopia. Sure, she had always like the place, but getting good coincidences seemed to happen a lot around here. Bella had honestly never been to far past the city's limits but she could imagine that she lived in the best place on Utopia. Bella was glad to live where she did. With her family and friends. Yes, she was very thankful for all of it. If she had known that Jay got a job she would have been through the roof.
Bells barely noticed that Jay was blushing. He could have turned purple and it wouldn't surprise. Nothing was going to be to strange for Bella. That was what happened when you had schizophrenia. That was why her family was so careful with her. At the moment her only symptom was that weird green bubble floating above Jay's head. She payed no attention to it. Instead she giggled when her older sister smoothed down her hair. She noticed the hint of suspicion in Claire's voice, but didn't comment. Bella watched as Claire held out her hand, the other arm was still wrapped around Bella. The younger girl couldn't help but smile. What a funny coincidence, that Claire got to meet Jay too. Claire was one of the best sisters in the world in Bella's mind. Even if Claire had a few issues as well. The two were well taken care of by their big brother.

 I LOVE THE WAY YOU MOVE ALL OVER THE GLOBE †Despite himself, Jay continued to smile, even after being a bit unnerved by Claire. She seemed like the protective sister type, shown in the her interrogative style of asking him questions. Now that he thought about it, Bella had mentioned that she had an older sister way back then at the mall. Something like her being Claire¡®s make-up artist. It naturally meant that Claire was a model. Now that Jay had a physical picture of Bella's older sister, he could see that she definitely was a model.
"How do you two know each other? " Claire continued with her interrogation. Oh, so Bella hadn¡®t told her sister about him? For some reason, that made him rather disappointed, but he quickly forgot that feeling as he answered.
" We, uhm, met at the mall, and she had offered to b-buy me ice cream, [/color] " Jay replied and shook Claire's outstretched hand. unable to shake off his stutter. He was extremely tempted to spill every single fine detail of their encounter (as he was the type to do that), but decided against it. He needed to make a good first impression on his best friend's sister, right?[/size][/blockquote] STATUS; Complete

Bells still wanted to put make up on her big sister. She had a living doll for a sibling, that was how it seemed to Bella anyway. The younger girl realized that she would most likely one day be just as pretty as her sister. That just didn't seem like it was happening though. They had a resemblance, but Claire was much prettier. Hopefully Bella would be able to grow up to be like Claire. It was kind of cute that instead of wanting to be like her mother, Bella wanted to be like her big sister.
The younger girl had actually talked about Jay when she got home. It didn't mean that Claire would connect the dots though. Bella continued smiling, listening to Claire grill Jay with questions. She didn't think she would have to tell her sister to stop. Claire would stop in a little bit. Bella was well aware that Claire gave people a hard time at first. Jay wouldn't have to many problems though. Her big sister just wanted to protect her.
Bella smiled at Jay. "It was good ice cream." Bella then went under the water to slip from her sister's grasp. Popping up next to her and splashing Claire right in the face. Bella giggled, and Claire splashed Bella right back. Bella shook her head like a dog, her blond hair clumping into spikes. She kind of did look like a wet dog now. Claire didn't feel like a doll. She felt like a real, living person. Although she allowed her younger sister to treat her otherwise. Claire was Bella's lab rat when it came to make up. The sisters were pretty different but somehow they fit in the same pod. Claire was starting to recall the story about the boy with kitty ears as she spoke to Jay. Bella had said stuff about it, but Claire was so busy she wasn't sure if she recalled it correctly.
Claire had good reasons to be protective of Bella. The younger sister was to adorable for her own good. The family was paranoid someone would kidnap her. Maybe it wasn't paranoid considering Bella's twin brother had disappeared the day they were born. Claire never even met her younger brother. Now he was gone, just like their father. So of course, Claire was going to be protective.
When Jay said the word mall, Claire was sure of it. This was the boy with the kitty ears. She remembered only that part because she had imagined Cheshire cat. Yes, she was way off but oh well. Claire smiled at Bella's comment about the ice cream. "I'm sure it was." It seemed like when she stole a glance at Jay, trying to picture him as Cheshire cat Bella slipped from her grasp. As soon as Bella was out of her grasp she knew what would happen. Claire was on the receiving end of a good splash. A split second later a wall of water hit Bella right back. It took Claire a moment to realize that Bella's hair was now a mess. A sigh escaped her like she had spent an hour or so on that hair, which she didn't.
Claire turned to Jay. "Sisters are a handful." Then she pointed at Bella who was now turning red as a cherry. "I am not", said Bella. The look the two sisters exchanged confirmed that Claire was only teasing. Bella then disappeared under the water's surface. Ready to strike with another splash attack at any moment. Well, that was what Claire imagined anyway. "Watch out. She might get you too." Claire smiled, then glanced to the water looking for air bubbles. When the bubbles rose, that meant oxygen supplies were low, and an attack was on the way. The two girls might take splash fights a little to seriously.

 SAME SONG AND DANCE, SOMETHIN' ABOUT IT, MAN †Jay could definitely see how and why Claire's concern and love for Bella was so strong. He himself was a protective sibling over his older sister (almost to the point of a siscon relationship), despite her being an adult, so he could certainly relate. Sisters were precious things. The whole reason for brothers was to protect the sisters, he always believed.
" It was good ice cream, " Bella had interjected. Jay nodded enthusiastically. It had been really good ice cream. Food tastes best when eaten with a friend, after all. Soon after that, though, Bella escaped from Claire's grasp and splashed her. Jay chuckled to himself. His sister wouldn't be caught dead having a splash fight with him. She would much rather sleep or watch anime. He didn't mind, Jay convinced himself, although he was sure his heart felt other wise.
After splashing Claire, Bella submerged beneath the water, getting ready for a surprise attack. Jay, since he was rather neglected, was once again in an unfamiliar situation. " E-Eh? Wh-What do I do? [/color]" He asked in a distressed tone, his question directed at Claire, as he continued to tread the water.[/size][/blockquote] STATUS; Complete

Claire gave a smile that masked her surprise. How could he not know what to do? Well she wouldn't be rude to Bella's friend. He was probably just a bit shy. Shy people get nervous and don't think. Well, that was what Claire thought. In the mean time she quickly answered his question. "When you see her come up either splash her or submerge yourself. This is war men!" She then giggled at her silly last words. It was like she was practicing to be an actor or something. There was something about the silly notion that made her blush. She went under the water as she saw bubbles come to the surface.
Jay was on the surface to fend for himself against Bella. She was a splash machine at times. Claire dared to open her eyes under the water. It stung but it gave her an edge. She latched onto Bella from behind. Popping to the surface. There was no telling how much damage Bella had managed to do while Claire was submerged for about forty-five seconds. "Gotcha' Bells!" She then planted a kiss on her younger sister's cheek. Bells giggled and squirmed but this time was locked in her sister's grasp. Bella looked at Jay. "What's the total damage?" Her face was holding a playful smile. Something about being with Bella made her so happy. She could overcome her depression and play around like a child.
"How about we try out the water slide?" She dared releasing the splash monster to point it out. Claire already knew what Bella would say, but she wanted to know if Jay was okay with it. she wouldn't want him to feel left out if she took Bella up there. Bella was already agreeing she wanted to go there. Now Claire just needed word from Jay.

Bella waited under the water. The cool water making her weightless. As she floated in the water her eyes were open. She found this task easy, unlike her sister who struggled with it. The chlorine stung her eyes but she didn't mind. She accidentally lost some air bubbles from her nose. She had no choice but to surface and splash attack. So in a few kicks she was at the surface and sending a wall of crystal blue water at Jay. She had noticed Claire submerge but it was to late t get Claire. Bella paused to rub her eyes then looked around to see if she had gotten Jay. Not before Claire captured her though.
Claire's lips made contact with her cheek and she blushed. Then started giggling all over again. Her laugh seriously sounded like bells chiming. Staying true to her nickname. She almost immediately said yes to Claire's Question. She wanted to so she nodded but then she looked at Jay and asked him if he wanted to. "Do you want to? I do." as she said she did she glanced at Claire. Her blue eyes flicking between the two of them. Her blond hair still clumped into spikes.

 SAME SONG AND DANCE, 'IN THE PALE MOONLIGHT'[/color]† Jay's mind went into overdrive. In unfamiliar situations, he would often freeze up or try to look less awkward, as he would often have no idea what to do or how to react to something. Splash fight? His mind asked. What was that? In the time of one or two seconds, Jay's less than brilliant brain formulated a correct reaction.
"Yes, ma'[am!" Jay replied to Claire's 'military talk' while grinning. Though he said that, his perceiving of the situation was still rather hazy. He watched as Claire submerged under the water in pursuit of their pretend enemy Bella. In a matter of seconds, she and Claire rose to the surface, but not before Bella splashed a healthy dose of water at him. Claire clung to Bella and kissed her on the cheek as a sign of playfulness and love.
"What¡®s the damage?" Claire asked as Jay shook his hair of the excess water. "Total annihilation." Jay laughed as he floated on his back, supposedly dead. " Man down! Man down!"
Jay righted himself so he was once again treading water and shook his head again, the water making his hair stick to his face. " How about we try out the water slide?" Claire had asked
"Definitely. [/color]" Jay agreed after Bella showed her enthusiastic approval. In all honesty, though, he had a fear of high places, and he was pretty sure the water slide was out of his comfort box. He didn't let the girls know that, though. What was more uncool and embarrassing than a guy amidst two girls that was afraid of heights? [/blockquote][/size] STATUS; Complete

Bella giggled, she loved when her sister did the military talk. It was something the two girls had picked up watching movies. Their older brother happened to pick out a lot of spy or military movies. If it were up to Bella who knows what kind of movies they might end up watching. Probably a bunch of comedy and romance. Claire would probably agree to that. Thinking about that Bella thought about Jay wanting to be an voice actor. She looked at him. With a unreadable expression, her thinking expression.
Bella only needed that one word to start trying to get out of the pool. She was going to go on that slide! Bella was scared of flying but not of heights. She did pretty good with them. If Jay had said something about not liking heights she would held his hand all the way up so he wouldn't be scared. She would just tell him that everyone had a kyrptonite, and that it was okay. Since she didn't know she wanted to tear off, up the stairs and go down the slide. Before they got out of the pool Bella just had to ask though. "Jay, how is your acting career coming? As your biggest fan I have to know!" She smiled.
