TLO is a fairly simple role-play with a background which will be covered in this topic. I encourage all to read this even if the text is long. I know it's painful but it makes things so much more fun when everyone knows what's going on.
.::The Lost Order::.
After the murder of King Arthadain the Pure, the land began crumbling apart. The Order of Dragons lost hope in the human race, returning back to their mountain stronghold, a place where few humans were allowed entry. The king left a son who took up his fathers role in hopes of restoring the broken tie between humans and dragons. His attempt was vien. His father's most trusted advisor was secretly betraying him.
One foggy winter night, the advisor, Tanor, put together his army. It consisted of dark magic users with their twisted, corrupted dragons. Tanor entered the castle as if he had simply been out on a strole. When he was sure the king was asleep, the signal was fired. A roar echoed from the east as the dragons took wing. The sky was lit as balls of fire soared towards the castle walls.
All that remains of castle is broken stone.
There was a rumor that the king had one of the dragon elders fighting for him, the Dragon of Light. Whom was partnered with his most skilled warrior. What happened to them during the battle is unknown. A rumor carried by travelers, soon vanished like a breeze on the wind.
Tanor took the thrown, as was layed out. Should a king die in battle, his chosen advisor would take the thrown. A terrible choice to choose.
Humans were forbidden to enter the dragon's city. Even humans partnered to dragons were thrown out. One remained however, simply because the fact her dragon was one of the elders who had a say in the matter.
Years passed and the choosing of humans faded away. The dragon order remained in its stronghold, refusing to trust the humans with their children. In secret though, a warrior crept from the city upon her dragon, eggs kept safe and warm in the bundle of cloth in the back of the saddle. There were few, but enough to cause the warrior to set out to find them, who possessed to gift of Quin'Talor, the dragon god. She'd find them, present them their partner for life, train them, and get the others to take down Tanor. The time for her revenge would soon be on the horizan.
